Position Summary:

In this role, the incumbent must apply fundamental concepts and principles in providing engineering solutions.

Reports To: Director of Engineering

Essential Functions:

Essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Design basic high-pressure piping and sanitary systems

  • Design and troubleshoot basic hydraulic systems

  • Assemble and test mechanical devices and electrical components

  • Design, experiment and test plans and then generate comprehensive testing reports

  • Create and document mechanical designs using CAD

  • Create and modify electronic control programs

  • Provide verbal and written reports to the team

  • Partner with suppliers to define and source design elements

  • Support internal and external customers by phone, virtual or in person meetings

  • Ability to travel to customer locations or the manufacturing facility

  • Other duties, as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • N/A

Organizational Relationships:

  • Must interface effectively and regularly with all departments on a regular basis with an emphasis on supporting the aftermarket and manufacturing teams.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • 2 - 5 years professional experience

Language Skills:

  • English

Computer Skills:

  • Complete Microsoft suite of tools

  • CAD / SolidWorks

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn, as well as the knowledge of when to seek out a mentor

  • Enthusiasm for the engineering profession

  • Results oriented with a desire to achieve results and go above and beyond expectations
