In this role, the intern has the opportunity to assist and learn the Engineering function of the business. This will be an onsite role at our Wooster, OH location. Must be able to work 20-40 hours a week on average, with flexibility for planned vacations and class schedule.

REPORTS TO (Title): Director of Engineering

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and complete department assigned project(s) and tasks in a timely and effective manner

• Collaborate with different members of the engineering team, as well as collaborate cross functionally across the business

• Streamline assembly processes with sourcing ergonomic equipment

• Assisting in updating Bill of Materials

• Creating and updating standard operating procedures

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Some experience with ERP systems

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Operations Management or other related field is required

• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite – Word and Excel preferred
